The Republicans Cheering on the Flip Side of It

The Republicans are on the verge of becoming the like permanent party in government. If they win the next election and they push through all of the voter ID stuff and gerrymandering stuff they want to do, then the Republicans will just be permanently in power. Which is good for the Democrats too because they never have to govern. And we're just seeing the balance shift slowly in that direction where El Cropatius capitalism is formally in control. The symbol of the resistance to capitalism is just liberal, tepid attempts to reign that power in.
