Political Satisfaction in Science Fiction

In the West Wing where politics was front and center we cared more about the characters in the West Wing what was going on with them their personal lives all of these things because we liked the story. I truly believe when I make this this thing about zoning that everybody will applaud like like to go back to political satire one of the things that made the Daily Show so potent in its early years is they had a rule in the writer's room that any line designed to elicit applause would be cut.
