Fire was founded by a left-leaning libertarian free speech hawk Harvey Silverglade who's kind of like my you know honorary dad and Alan Charles Kors. They founded it in 1999 to protect free speech and academic freedom and due process on college campuses. In the same week there was what happened at his alma mater Stanford Law School where there was a shout down of Judge Kyle Duncan, an appellate judge that's one level below the Supreme Court. The good news is Dean Jenny Martinez at Stanford has actually come out strongly against the the liberal students so they've fixed the whole problem yeah.
