The Differences Between Continuous and Delay Consonants
There's also a distinction between continuous consonants interrupted consonants and delayed consonants. These don't really map consistently to different types of articulation so for example mong and Silvogomerro use completely different strategies for which kind of Whistling articulation they associate with different classes of regular consonants. So I can't tell you like continuous consonant articulation is equivalent to voiced consonants in normal speech because it's just not its own totally different thing that gets mapped to modal normal modal language categories by different Whistled registers.
