How to Find Predictors or Moderators in a Process Based Therapy?

Treatment outcome assessment research has been criticised for being too focused on the effects of treatment, rather than how it affects people's lives. In an interview with Simon Hooper, Dr Hooper explains why process-based therapy could be a better way to look at outcomes. He says that if you can't figure out mechanism or mediation in large groups of aggregated data, then there is no hope of nailing predictors of outcome. But he also adds that we should not stop r cts because they are so individualized.
