I feel like there's a legitimate hidden criticism here that maybe was used with examples that came across kind of cheesy, pun intended. One final comment which is that I think it is irrational to pursue something which we now know is impossible. Trying to go faster than the speed of light before Einstein came around is a totally reasonable endeavor. It only becomes unreasonable after Einstein and after we know it can't be done. Maybe we could think just to add final thought, the principle of optimism and this problem with the insoluble problems. We could think of a problem that has no answer, possible answer and that will be the reason why we're entirely wiped out. That would be maybe a reason to doubt
