"I was like, curious that a white tour company would call themselves Born Free in a black island," she says. "Then we go to Harbor Island and the sand is pink. It's really hard." The trip also took her to Spanish Wells, an island where there are only white people. She later found out it used to be a sundown town for African-Americans.
