Triathlon Swim Workouts

In triathlon we traditionally treat swimming or we train swimming like pool swimmers do but that's very different from the way that a traditional endurance cyclist or endurance runner would train. In your hard workouts you the work-to-rest ratios are completely off compared to what you would do in a bike or run workout. I want each workout to feel like yeah there's quite a bit left in the tank at the end of the workout so it's not so much me being nervous it's more taking a different approach to swimming and programming it a bit more than swimming sort of running and cycling.
