Is There a Limitation of Liability Clause in a Contract?

If you have a limitation of liability clause in your contract, that says the limitation of liability shall be limited to the total dollar value paid for the work. If you can't get that, at least limit it to your insurance a coverage,. which for most firms is, summer, between one and two million. Do not set all those nasty letters aside and ignore them but definitely let your insurance carrier know that you've been put on notice of a claim. That's very important. And you don't want to lose out in the representation that you're paying for with your insurance company.
