There is a free free EAS tier. You just have to wait a really long time for it. If you go with the free plan, you only get one concurrent build at a time. There's a lot of stuff to learn about. It's definitely an investment in your workflow. Don't try to do it halfway. Definitely learn about EAS and all that it's capable of so that you're maximizing what it can do. And if you need to write like a plugin too, a native plugin, there's a high bar there too because it's different from the usual Objective C Swift Java code that you've written in the past.
