Great negotiators are fluid, they can flow, but in a negotiation course, it's kind of hard to teach, hey, just flow in the moment. So for me, that adaptability is just about listening to your counterpart and then being nimble. Don't be so enthusiastic to talk and tell everyone how clever you are. Just shut up and listen, right? And usually the solution presents itself.
