The Problem With Correlations in Medical Medicine

You can get correlations. Some of them are causal in character and others aren't. And so it is a central problem in medical medicine particularly statistical medicine, distinguishing connections which are correlations and causal from other that which are not. What I would say about it is that you certainly need to have something more than just a correlation in order to establish causality. But the question of what more you need is a bit sort of not entirely clear.
