Do What Jesus Would Do if He Were You?

We are at the end of our five-year journey of spiritual formation as a church. To apprentice under Jesus is to organize your life around three goals: Be with Jesus, Become like Jesus and do what he did. The cross comes before the resurrection. Good Friday before Easter. Death to self before life in the kingdom. And it's simple math, prose and cons. Just get out of a piece of paper this afternoon. Line up, reputation, pleasure, money, a rising career path, whatever it is against Christ and life in his kingdom doesn't even compare.
