Sting and John Lord were in a punk rock band with two basses. Sting wanted to sign Andy Savoy Brown, who was 10 years old at the time. But they couldn't afford his £10,000-a-year lifestyle. The pair met up again on their way back home from Paris. Police Academy has been released by Mike Hallott's Illegal Records label.
