Cassandra's Prediction of the Fall of Troy
Cassandra predicts the fall of troy, but she doesn't have any real power. Her fellow trojans don't recognize her as a prophet, and so she is not taken seriously. The consequences are disastrous. Cassandra knows that this gift is not a gift at all. There's a reason why cassandra has this oddly positive reaction. Whereas everyone can only see what's right in front of them, she can see two steps ahead.
