I want to keep introducing this friction because I think it's a useful and maybe an interesting distinction. The truth is, you know, you're saying the truth for what? And I'm saying, well, we don't have to even ask for what the truth itself is a valid end. For me, the truth is an independent good. It isn't co-extensive to the good with the good. To me,  the good is the good - but that doesn't mean people are evil or uninterested in the good. That just means they aren't going to be as good as everyone else.
