The Different Types of Jazz
There's a lot to think about. Smooth jazz is in the outer darkness, and it has nothing to do with the old jazz. The problem with smooth jazz is that they really don't have the spirit of improvisation or taking risks. There's kind of funk jazz, Latin jazz, jazz influenced by classical music.
