Is Hope a Virtue?

In aristo, in aristotelian terms, if something is going to be a virtue, it's got to fulfil at least two conditions. It's got to help you flourish and contribute to a good life. And the other is, you've got to be able to practise it. If that's true, then hope doesn't look like a very good candidate for being a virtue. The greeks were bent on, you know, measure and self ma so for the christians, it's a bit the opposite.
