The Mercy and Forgiveness of God
Chesed is the mercy and forgiveness that God extends to people in a covenant relationship with him. He expects us then to extend chesed to others, right? And this is that second commandment: We love God and we love each other. I think prayer also suspends the normal run of daily life for five minutes or ten minutes at a time.
