The Future of Film

A state single-payer system for these kinds of things wouldn't be enough to create a world that is just in some kind of maximal sense. You'd have to do a lot of other things to regulate the way that individual film companies or film teams or whoever the groups of people are who make the art. Is this idea, this possibility, something that was possible, practical in the past? Do you think David Brunsman is right that essentially what people like I owned with trying to do in the 70s and in other states was essentially preemptive?
