Turkey's state-owned hulk bank is seeking dismissal of criminal charges that it helped Iran evade economic sanctions by laundering billions of dollars in oil and gas revenues. "There has never been a criminal action brought against a foreign state owned enterprise in our history," says Julian Zelizer. The Supreme Court will have to decide if the case can go forward, he adds.
