If beauty has no source in God, every aspect of our culture's view of beauty ends up being perverted and selfish rather than pure and generous. And then the second thing, like you said, is those Hebrew conceptions of embodied love. Every act of God is love because God is just acting out his essential character of love. So as we conceptualize what it means to be a Christian, it's just something like love God, love and neighbor,. which is what Jesus said.
