Knox: Should You Kneel or Not When You Receive the Eucharist?
For Knox, like many reformers, one of the central ideas that comes in is soloscriptura. He absolutely wants to see anything that doesn't have a scriptural warrant removed. And what's interesting is that that is a theme that stays with him throughout his career. But he does have this period where after he gets off the galley, where he's doing a sort of proper job and becomes quite an important clergyman.
