How X-Rays Revolutionised Medicine?

x-rays revolutionised medicine and had important implications for the study of physics as well. They enabled people to work out the structures of molecules such as humoglobin structure was worked out using x-ray crystallography then you have Dorothy Hodgkin working out the structure of insulin and vitamin B12. Structure of DNA wouldn't have been worked out by Watson and Crick without the help of Rosalynn Franklin who didn't share Nobel Prize because she passed away before it was awarded.
