David Walliams' President's Club Charity Dinner
In 2018 David Walliams hosted the President's Club charity dinner. It was an all-male affair except for 130 women who've been hired for the evening. Undercover reporting by Madison Marriage in the Financial Times revealed widespread sexual harassment of the women working at the event. Many hostesses were groped, subject to lewd remarks and invited to join guests in private rooms at the Dorchester. No such allegations were directed against Walliams; after the FT investigation he said he was appalled and that he hadn't witnessed any of the behaviours alleged.
