The Trade-Offs Between Licenses and Greater Access to the Workforce
The idea of literally moving from Nova Scotia to Ontario and having nursing being radically different between those provinces seems to be a little silly if you bring it down to that point. Right. Well for us Alex during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic we started to see states much more willing to recognize licenses for health occupations from other states even accelerating whether they would recognize a license from current students or recognizing the license of people who had retired as in my home state of California. So we can see that there is flexibility here there are trade-offs the trade-offs exist between licensing and the other option of greater access to the workforce better services for consumers less expensive services for consumers.
