In the study, they put catheters in veins on both arm, both arms to assess these blood amino acid levels. And now I'm thinking like squatting with large bore IV. Like I don't think that would be comfortable. They also rated delayed onset muscle soreness called doms at 24 hours and 48 hours post squat protocol. So after the squats without any sort of beverage consumption, there was an increase in muscle protein synthesis and connective tissue synthesis rates. That's from the blood marker turnover, et cetera.
