The Importance of Rest for Healing

Claire: Being able to rest without those pressures and demands is so rare for people to find, but also so important for healing and recovery. I think as with anything, when we're trying to let go of maybe an unhealthy or unhelpful behavior that we're engaging in, you know, they can't just be a vacuum. You've got to have something to replace it with. Claire: For Indigenous peoples, we live in such a different reality from the rest of the population, that those things very first step have to be addressed.
