Chrome is only supported in chromium based browsers. It has some support in safari, but it's not like a sand box. If you want to gain access to the user's file system and need to voke the user, a example, by installing a chrome excension. The relevant chromapia can be found here. But yes, crome ards at a, that's cind o cooland that's not as big of a deal, i don't think, as you might think it.
