What Is Product Management?
The main reason why I wanted to chat with you is something I come to the sudden and concerning recognition that I don't know what product means. The specifics of where I'm confused is I ask people what a product manager does when they just drive it. Their job is to shape the product, ship the product and sink the people in order to drive business impact. So those are the three buckets. And designers can do them sometimes in engineers, but that's basically what a PM does.
