The word d motion sounds bad in most corporations. It sounds like your going down, you are doing less, you suck. So what i'm trying to do is reduce the stigma of the word demotion and talk about careers more as story lines rather than climbing a mountain. That enables a healthier conversation about not retiring because then you can just go down, you dn't have to get kicked out.

Social media solutions: No screens in the first or last hour of day. Put your charger as far away from your bedroom as possible. Turn off notifications on your phone, or put your phone on airplane mode. Happiness should be a starting point, not a destination. The best time of day to check email is 9-10 am and 4-5pm.
