The Problem With Mindsights in China
Mining mindsights can become attractive targets for rebel groups, local fighters and armies. Blinging on Kinshasa to provide better security may have limited results unless more investment takes place in the security services. The other problem that could potentially arise from that is the perception that the government prioritizes the mining over any other security.
