The Grand Maester Theory

There's something called the grand maester theory that I absolutely love and it is this really fun book reader conspiracy theory. The world the citadel is building has no place in it for sorcery or prophecy or glass candles, much less for dragons. So there's this great theory that the maesters are working behind the scenes to end house Targaryen and end the dragon.
