The Importance of Women in the Comedy Industry

A lot of people that get in the comedy and acting and writing like they have some rich parents, they've got a trust fund. I didn't have any of that. Just between a three year period 2008-2011 of ADA com was given a comedy specials on Comedy Central only 10 were women. There's all these jobs that you're kind of like how do you get this job? How do you decide what comedian's funny? That's the other thing about it is we're just the only ones going through this experience but we're all going to go through it together.
