Hector the convector. Convector as in those rushing updrafts or convection currents that form it. Hector as in nice rhyming name bestowed during the Second World War by pilots who noticed that the storm was so reliable turning up at the same time and in the same place every single day. It's been pretty handy for scientists too helping them to understand what causes these storms.
