The Effect of Streaming on Television Production
Writers are hired on a project basis, but have term employment. They would much rather hire writers by the script and not have to pay them by week. This has worked as a model for 50 years and streaming has just shot it all on the face. 'We're contending with studios who want to get rid of term employment,' he says.
