"I don't want to wait for somebody to tell me what to do. I want to figure it out for myself and do what I think is the right direction," overlanding guide says. "The reward is so amazing when you do that because somebody didn't tell you what to do, but that's okay...you'll learn from it." The first check he received after posting a video on YouTube was about 50 or 100 dollars. 'We're not here to try to get people to leave their jobs and take on YouTube,' Overlanded host says.
