Is There a Difference Between Asian Beauty Standards and American Beauty Standards?

I feel like it's also weird because the three of us we grew up in such an Asian dominated area, because I was pulled at home with the Asian beauty standards. And then when I looked at media, it would be American beauty standards but when I go to school it's like a very Asian American space where everyone kind of going through that same struggle. But still working with what I got. Do you guys ever change the things that you wear or the makeup that you put on based on who you're going to go see? If so, which one is your grandparents and if there are any other similarities between ABG look and '70s/'80s style girlie fashion.
