There's always room for cuteness in Star Wars to a degree you know I remember when George was uh shooting the ewoks in return of the Jedi and he said yeah dare to be cute. Jar Jar Binks was cutesy at times he detracted from the grit I don't know but also there is room for whimsicality in Star Wars too like Max Rebo band performing in Jabba's Palace.
