David: One fundamental way that I deviate from progressive orthodoxy is, I am deeply suspicious also of the role of the state to address social problems. He believes in Burke's admin Burke's we're talking about here, and his central argument that it is the little platoons right, the favorite phrase of conservatives who are better at solving social problems.
