The multi-chain bridge hack is a case where the contracts had some exception handling on bridge keys compromised. We actually have never really thought about this in this industry at all, especially because multi-chains whole thing was like, we use NPC, don't ask who the signers are. And of course, you have no way of even knowing how if all the signer are the same computer level on like same subnet. Yeah, I think this is why ZK is actually really nice because it's an additional layer that can't be abused as easily.
