The Story of Evelyn's Abduction

Evelyn hartley went missing in November 53. Her family received two phone calls from a man who said he had information about evelyn's whereabouts. He would give it to them in exchange for 500 dollars cash. It was to be placed inside a paper bag then left in the bathroom of a lacross drug store. A 13 year old boy followed ethel when she walked out of the shop and met up with a 20 year old man named jack duffren. Both men were arrested, but there was nothing to tie Duffran to Evelyn's abduction. The school board ultimately put an end to the tests after 300 boys have been questioned. Psychologist doctor karl sm
