Even with the beta variant, which was first detected, like so many of the important ones by Tullio de La Vera and his team in South Africa. It never really drove a global wave. So even having that laboratory data on immunovaciveness isn't enough to tell you that this virus is going to be the next big one. But I think there's a good cause to use multiple independent bases for saying, hey, we should be concerned about this.
