The Disadvantages of Cloud Providers
Amazon is so steeped in the orthodoxy of no other clouds ever that they can't effectively communicate their message. There will always be room for at least two providers, but I don't know that Google is going to have the attention span to still have a cloud offering by lunch time today. It's one of those weird things too, where the clouds almost seem to be arguing against each other. But if you're running a publicly traded company on top of it, you'd be negligent not to think about it - why pretend otherwise?
