The Culture of Work

In 93, most people don't remember this because it's been so eclipsed by 9-11. But there was a bombing of the World Trade Center exactly 30 years ago. This is before cell phones and the power went out in the building. And my friend and I, we thought, okay, we'll go bet. We'll take the stairs to our desk. 37 flights of stairs up to our desks. This is what you do. That's why this is the culture that I was in. And that's why I made that decision never to go back again.
