Plan 75: A Japanese Drama
Plan 75 is a Japanese drama directed by Chia Hayakawa. She was one of the co-directors of Ten Years Japan, in which filmmakers imagined what Japan would be like in 10 years later. It's about a government plan to deal with the aging population through euthanasia. In response to a wave of hate crimes against the elderly, the government have introduced Plan 75. And it offers assisted dying to anyone over the age of 75. The film also allows itself to have moments of redemption in later sections.
