The Transitional Authority in the Coal Fields

In Mierd, which is one of the important towns in the coal fields, a transitional authority was appointed. A lot of the revolutionaries kind of melt into the night, I suppose, and flee. Several hundred do end up in exile over the coming weeks and months. The occupation is much more violent than that surrender would perhaps indicate. There are mass roundups, there are beatings, there is a widespread use of torture and detention.
