In my experience, it's significantly better to onboard customers at a measured but increasing pace every week. That way you have the bandwidth to fix any issues that folks find and then can focus on making your customers exceptionally happy. There are three circumstances where I think it does make sense to consider a traditional launch: when you need one of the three C's, capital candidates or customers.
