In our society, you might say that our post enlightenment heritage has taught us to place a kind of ethical value on facts and objectivity. And so in a way, technique falls in line with one of our most central collective values. But it I guess the problem then is that it this whatever the relationship we we have towards technology is or towards technique is it does tend to bolster its own approval.
