How to Find Southern Right Whales in Elders

The technique is very dependent upon the sea surface roughness of the water. If you get waves or a big swell, then the light tends to refract and you can't see below the surface. The satellites that are up there now can take lots and lots of images several times per day. So the whales are there for many months of the year. We're fairly certain that we can get good images when we want to.
